Waiting List Ticket (WL) is issued when there are  no more confirmed seats available to be booked.


1) RLGN: Remote Location General Waiting List (RLGN) This type of waiting list is different from the general waiting list (GNWL), which is for passengers who are starting their journey from the originating station of the train or from a station very close to it. RLGN passengers have a lower priority to get confirm

2) RSWL: Roadside Station Waiting List (RSWL)  when booking tickets for a train journey originating from a station in a particular state, Indian Railways allocates a certain number of seats for passengers traveling from that state. These seats are reserved under the Remote Location Quota for that state

---This waiting list has also very less chances of confirmation.


3) RQWL: if a passenger boards from an intermediate station and there is a quota defined for that station, it falls under the Remote Location Quota.RQWL passengers have a lower priority compared to passengers on other types of waiting lists such as General Waiting List (GNWL) or Remote Location General Waiting List (RLGN).
